Hi, I’m Freddy, an old-school paintball player with decades of playing experience. I’ve tested almost every type of paintball gun.
Welcome to my Tippmann US Army Project Salvo Paintball Gun Review.
Don’t waste your money on lousy paintball markers that jam up. Get a quality paintball gun that works in all weather conditions that even a pro paintballer can lust for.
Let’s get into it.
High-quality paintball marker
It’s the AK-47 of paintball guns. Seriously.
It doesn’t jam up no matter how the weather conditions are. I’ve tested it in heavy rain, and it’s still accurate, reliable, and has a great rate of fire. The Project Salvo Paintball Gun is one of the best paintball markers I’ve tested.
The stainless steel and aluminum make it a bit heavy but give it a much more realistic feeling when carrying it around. The advantage of solid material is you can throw it around, and it doesn’t break. I’ve dropped it so many times: I slipped and got it buried in mud, and I’ve dropped it on hard rocks, and it still performs well. An excellent choice for beginners who want a reliable working gun for years to come.
You’ll instill fear in your opponents during paintball shootouts.
This gun shoots so accurately and hits the targets when you aim. The response trigger feels good. You’ll have a significant advantage over your opponents.
Great style for woodsball
If you like woodball, buy it.
The feeling of carrying this paintball gun out in the woods alone is worth it. It looks and feels like a real M416 and has a realistic “milsim” style.
The Project Salvo Gun is a pure woodsball paintball gun. While you can use this paintball gun for speedball, you probably won’t dominate as it’s heavy and not as fast as top speedball guns.
It is easy to field strip if you need to clean it during a game within seconds, and it works great even in the pouring rain.
Lots of customization
You can upgrade the barrel to make it more accurate and shoot longer and faster. If you upgrade it, your teammates will admire your incredible gear.
There are also many accessories like sight, grip, light, rail covers, flashlight, cyclone hopper, upgraded firing mechanism, and more. I would advise against adding a red dot sight to it since you’re wearing a paintball mask while playing, making it hard to use the red dot sight. But I do recommend a cyclone feed as it is more reliable than a gravity fed hopper.
