Boss Paintball Fields is in Locust. They have some most excellent fields you’ll ever see: Air Ball Field, Pirate Ship, Voodoo Village, Toxic Waste, Spools, Submarine, Castle, Fort Defiance, George Town, and Outpost Parker. All-day entry costs $22, and all-inclusive packages cost $48+.

Gotcha Paintball is currently closed because of renovations. They hope to be back in November 2022. Check their website or social media pages to stay updated. One-player pass is $30. A walk-on pass is $20 if you bring your own gear. A five-player pass costs $175, ten-player pass is $300, 15-player pass is $390, and 20-player pass is $520. There are two locations, one store at the corner of Atlantic and Millbrook Road, and the field is just north of Raleigh, off Highway 401. There are several fields, such as Mini City, Hyperball, Hyper 2, and Woods Field.

Xtreme Park Adventures in Durham is an indoor and outdoor facility, and they even have a simulated city for paintball, airsoft, and laser tag. There are seven fields on roughly 20 acres of land. There are also a lot of other activities at the park, such as Xtreme Haunt, Soccer, Gel Blaster, ATV Adventure, Rock Climbing, Zipline, Ropes Course, Escape Room, Outdoor Quest Adventures, Gem Mining, Education Center, Summer Camp, and Corporate Team Building. The basic paintball package costs $55 per person. There are many scenarios and game modes, such as Valkyrie, Rage, Civil War, Hostage, Zombie Apocalypse, Deathstar, The Four Horsemen, The Crazy Game of Poker, Capture the Flag, Bomb Da Base, Fall and Rise, Juggernaut and Kombat Convoy.

Black River Paintball is the oldest running paintball field in the state, conveniently near Fayetteville, Durham, and Raleigh. The large park consists of fields like The Fort, Ghost Town, Speedball, Amazon, Hyperball, Barnyard, Waterworld, and Undercity. The park opens at 9 AM, registration opens at 9:30 AM, and play time begins at 10 AM.

The Kill Zone Indoor Paintball Field offers low-impact paintball with speeds of 200 feet per second, which are more beginner-friendly and more suitable for kids aged ten and up. The rental package costs $22.50 for 45 minutes of play and $45 for 90 minutes. They also offer spring-powered gunplay, an even lower impact at a speed of 110 feet per second, and prices start at $15 for 45 minutes and $30 for 90 minutes.
